Your contacts are/n’t your network🛜

There is a big misconception when it comes to networking.

I give you an example:

John thinks that Michael is in his network because he knows him - FALSE.

Michael isn’t in Johns network.

Michael is not even Johns network when he’s in his phonebook.

Michael isn’t Johns network if John is even in Michael’s phonebook.

So you may ask now; Then tell us…

WHAT IS NETWORK⁉️

Okay come down, let me cook…

Michael is in Johns network when John calls Michael and he’s pleased to see that John called him - BOOM

So he takes the phone and says: “Hey John I’m in a rush, is there anything I can do? If not please let me call you back in 15mins.”

Michael smiles when he sees Johns name on his phone - Real Network.

And this is when someone’s in your Network.

Your bare contacts aren’t your network.

Your network are only people whom you have relationships with. - Makes sense right?

So… RELATIONSHIP=NETWORK

NETWORK=NETWORTH

Huh?
