Underpainting started/My friend Dave!
My friend posted an amazing photo on Facebook of himself in Old West costume. I thought the photo was fantastic with great lighting so I asked him if I could paint it and he agreed. There is still a lot to do but I love how it is coming out. The background is toned canvas toned with raw umber acrylic ink. The subject is being done in oil. I cannot wait to see how it will turn out. I think he will be pleased. As always when I ask permission to paint someone's painting, I will send him a print when it is finished.
