Today was all about finding out what permits I need to start filming in the historic center, around the cemetery and in the church! Surprisingly easy!

Due to recent events, Pete and I were on the fence about opening our art gallery here in Tuscany however we have decided to go ahead with it. I do have to get my residency first and my partita IVA which is the Italian tax number however since we have the space and are paying rent I will be using it as a studio and a place where I can show my art. Ultimately we will get al later legal rudiments and and I will be able to start selling but for now, it is a place where I can have an open studio for people interested in art to come by, have a coffee and talk art.

Took a break from lining up legal releases and what not of army film and took a walk. Guess what? Someone else is filming in the piazza! Torrita is a great hub for artists and creatives!

My friend posted an amazing photo on Facebook of himself in Old West costume. I thought the photo was fantastic with great lighting so I asked him if I could paint it and he agreed. There is still a lot to do but I love how it is coming out. The background is toned canvas toned with raw umber acrylic ink. The subject is being done in oil. I cannot wait to see how it will turn out. I think he will be pleased. As always when I ask permission to paint someone's painting, I will send him a print when it is finished.

We found our lead supporting actor for Chasing la Bella Vita!! He was under our noses all along! You're going to love this guy! What a great addition!
