One thing I’ve noticed over and over:
Pop-up calls work.
Not because they’re perfectly planned.
Not because hundreds of people attend.
Because they build:
✅ Engagement
✅ Community
✅ Relationships with you as the owner
✅ Transparency
✅ Trust that you’re listening
✅ Invitations for members to participate
You don’t need a huge turnout.
You don’t need a fancy presentation.
You don’t even need to find a time that works for everyone.
You only need it to work for one person.
Put a custom call on the calendar.
Invite someone publicly.
Show up.
Have the conversation.
Others will often join live or watch the replay later.
Some of my best community conversations have started because one member needed help, asked a question, or wanted accountability.
The call was for them.
Everyone else benefited too.
Small, personal, and responsive often beats big, polished, and generic.
