Daddy Issues (and Tissues) the grief circle you wish you had
we’re not healing our daddy issues. we’re honoring them. this circle is for the ones with dead dads, complicated fathers, and unfinished stories. Daddy Issues (and Tissues) is part grief circle, part art therapy, part sacred chaos. we’ll breathe, create, and remember together. we’ll open with breathwork and reflection, then move into a guided collage ritual where you’ll turn your grief into something tangible, messy, and strangely beautiful. you don’t need to be an artist. you just need to feel, 🖤 when & where Sunday, Nov 2⏰ 2:00 PM CT 💻 Virtual via Zoom (link provided after registration) 💸 Donation-based ($11–$33 via Cash App → $mercedesmdn) 🌑 what to bring 🕯 a candle — to light when we begin (if you don’t have one, i’ll light one for you) ✂️ collage materials — photos, letters, scraps, glue, tape, scissors 💻 or make a digital collage — Canva, Pinterest, or Procreate) 🖊 a pen + journal 💧 something grounding — water, tea, or a blanket nearby about the circle community where grief, humor, and reverence coexist. everything shared in the circle stays in the circle. this is a confidential, judgment-free space to breathe, cry, laugh, and let go. ✨ to join:fill out the short reflection form here → https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeJf1xHSTmDRvwzhqpzbSQk9z6cBq_IadLu-5E5IP9f5ZAmXA/viewform?usp=dialog once completed, you’ll receive the zoom link + prep details. merci 🖤mourning house | where grief and (normally dark) humor coexist

Welcome to Mourning House
Take a breath with me. You’ve found your way here and that matters. Mourning House was born from my own grief. Eighteen years ago, I lost my dad to suixide, and everything I knew about life, love, and safety cracked open. For years, I tried to outrun the ache…to keep moving, keep fixing, keep surviving. But grief doesn’t go away when ignored. It becomes part of you. One day, I stopped running. I sat with it .. the anger, the numbness, the exhaustion and slowly began to listen. That’s when I learned that grief isn’t a wound to close; it’s a companion that walks beside us, teaching us how to live again. Mourning House is the home I needed back then. A place where grief and healing can coexist. Where we breathe, cry, remember, and reclaim ourselves through grief work, hypnosis, and ritual. There’s no timeline here. No fixing. Just gentle truth-telling, reflection, and community. You made it to Mourning House. 🖤 Your first step: Introduce yourself below. Tell us what called you here your story, your loss, or simply the pull in your chest that whispered “come home”.
