Help me shape the first topics: what interests you? 👀
Hey everyone! Thanks to all 8 of you guys for being here early, really appreciate you jumping into MCA while it’s still small. Feels like the perfect time to get your input. Keen to build this around what’s most useful; what mountain skills do you want to tackle first? Some ideas floating around: - Must-know knots for the mountains - Backcountry & Alpine route-finding skills - Glacier travel systems - Crevasse Rescue Techniques - Alpine decision-making fundamentals - Weather forecasting for the mountains - Movement and efficiency skills for technical terrain - Or anything else mountain-related? Drop a comment below with what would be most helpful for you right now, whether you’re just getting into backcountry stuff or already charging in harder terrain. Let me know. Looking forward to hearing all your thoughts! Olly 🎿

Welcome to Mountain Craft Academy (MCA) 🏔️
Hey, welcome to Mountain Craft Academy (MCA)! This is the very beginning, no members yet, just an idea I’m building out around teaching real, practical, no fluff mountain skills from my experience guiding, instructing and teaching in the Southern Alps of Aotearoa, New Zealand. If you’re here early, I genuinely appreciate it - keen to grow this into something valuable together. 🙌
