Good evening,
My name is Jacob and I am a 30yo road cyclist. Late this summer I had a gas station cashier ask me how many miles I had ridden that ride (I was in my full kit with bike parked outside the window). I told him that I was about 50 miles into my ride with approximately 18 miles remaining. He asked why I was doing that, noting that most people cycle to keep their "bellies flat" and gestured that mine was not. (the skin tight kit was not doing my gut any favors) It was at that moment I decided I was tired of working my tail off, riding my bike all the time without reaping the aesthetic benefits. So, here I am in this group with about 30lbs to lose over the remainder of this year, with a long term goal of losing 80lbs. I am currently down 20lbs from my heaviest and want to see this through.
Thanks for reading this far. I appreciate it!
