When I first came across reusable peptide injection pens, I honestly wasn't convinced.
I've used insulin syringes for years, and they work perfectly well. So I wasn't looking to replace something that wasn't broken.
After using one for the better part of a year, though, I understand why they've become so popular within the peptide community.
For me, the biggest advantages have been:
✅ Consistent, repeatable dosing.
✅ Faster administration for peptides that are injected daily.
✅ Fewer punctures of the vial stopper over the life of the peptide, which may reduce repeated exposure to ambient air and minimize opportunities for oxidation or contamination.
✅ Easier organization when you're managing multiple peptides at the same time.
They're certainly not required, and plenty of researchers will continue using traditional insulin syringes without issue. But for those running long-term protocols or juggling several compounds, they've become a tool I genuinely appreciate.
One company I've personally used and continue to use is RefillPen. Beyond the pens themselves, they've built an entire ecosystem around them, including:
• Replacement cartridges
• Peptide labels
• Storage organizers
• Travel cases
• A dosing calculator
• Multiple pen styles and colors
It's obvious they've continued improving the platform based on customer feedback.
