Beach Britches Session - Consolidated Rolling Buy Structure
☀️ Consolidated Rolling Buy Structure
Summer Britches Season is structured differently than a traditional static group buy.
Instead of one large fixed buy window, Summer Britches Season operates as a continuously rolling seasonal participation structure running throughout the summer season.
Quick Summary:
• Standard participation lane available• Optional coordinated testing participation available• Testing participation operates independently from standard session participation• Testing MOQ thresholds are designed to maintain reasonable testing allocation costs• Products may still proceed without coordinated testing activation• Testing participation windows remain open for 15 days from activation/opening
Detailed operational breakdowns for each structure are provided below.
The structure is built around two separate threshold systems:
• Non-Tested Session — Rolling Thresholds
Standard participation structure without Dark Horse optional coordinated testing activation. Current pricing does not reflect MOQ Testing estimates.
• Product Testing — Testing MOQ Thresholds
MOQ thresholds control whether optional participant-funded coordinated testing activates for specific products. Current pricing inclusive of MOQ testing estimate per participant.
This selection is made during intake and may be amended later if a participant decides to move into the Non-Tested participation channel.
————————————
Non-Tested Session — Rolling Thresholds
Purpose:
• Controls rolling session dollar amount progression toward defined dollar amount thresholds• Determines when one session closes and the next session opens• Based on total consolidated participation
(Note: If you select the Tested Participation Option, your participation is not included within this consolidation structure.)
Structure:
• Rolling seasonal participation running June → September
• Participants may join any active session during seasonal participation windows
• Once a rolling threshold dollar amount is confirmed as collected:
• current session closes• next session opens
This structure exists for operational consolidation to reduce or eliminate vendor shipping allocation costs while allowing participants access to products without individually meeting vendor MOQ requirements.
Product Testing — Testing MOQ Thresholds
(Note: If you select the Tested Participation Option, the following describes the process flow for this consolidation structure and bulletin board reporting.)
Purpose:
• Applies only to products eligible for optional coordinated testing
• MOQ thresholds are designed to maintain testing allocation cost targets below approximately <$20 per participant
• Based on number of kits committed toward testing participation
(Note: if participation exceeds MOQ thresholds, testing allocation costs adjust accordingly)
• Not based on dollar value
Structure:
• Optional testing participation is selected during intake
• MOQ thresholds are based on total testing participation for specific products
• Testing participation windows remain open for 15 days from activation/opening
This structure operates as a hybrid participation model where testing MOQ thresholds are driven by maintaining reasonable participant testing allocation costs rather than traditional vendor inventory MOQ requirements.
If testing MOQ thresholds are not met, participants may still proceed through the Non-Tested consolidation participation channel.
If Product Testing MOQ IS met:
• Coordinated testing activates
• Testing allocation fees apply
DH Coordinated Testing Fees include:
• Product testing laboratory allocation
• Shipping cost to testing laboratory• $2.50 per participant administration/coordination fee
Note:
Testing laboratory shipping costs typically range between approximately $8–$10 total and are proportionally distributed amongst testing participants.
The current coordination structure is intentionally being kept minimal during early-stage participation growth and initial operational rollout.
If Product Testing MOQ is NOT met within the active participation window:
Participants may:
• keep participation open pending additional participation
• modify participation to the Non-Tested participation channel
• cancel participation submission
Products may still proceed without optional coordinated testing activation.

Testing Donor Vial Structure
If DH is actively participating within a specific coordinated testing group, DH may elect to provide the donor vial at no discount to DH and no cost to Participants for laboratory submission.
Under this structure:
• separate donor polling is not required
• donor allocation redistribution is not required
• coordinated testing proceeds directly through the active testing structure
————————————
If DH is NOT actively participating within the associated testing group:
• a 24-hour donor participation poll will be posted for active testing participants
• if multiple donor volunteers exist, active testing participants will select the donor participant through participant polling
Under participant donor structure:
• the designated donor participant receives a product allocation credit equivalent to the cost of one vial/unit submitted for testing
• the residual donor allocation cost is proportionally distributed amongst the remaining active testing participants
Example:
• 10 testing participants• 1 donor vial valued at $10
Residual donor allocation:
$10 ÷ remaining 9 participants = ~$1.11 additional allocation per participant
Donor participants may ship:
• directly to DH for coordinated forwarding OR
• directly to the designated testing laboratory if permitted under the active testing structure.
If Donor Ships directly to the testing facility, a copy of the shipping receipt with tracking numbers must be presented to DH for credit to their respective invoice.
This structure exists to maintain operational flow while allowing flexible participant decision-making surrounding optional coordinated testing participation.
Some products therefore require higher testing participation thresholds in order to maintain reasonable participant testing allocation costs.

Finnrick-Supported Products
Products identified as:
“Finnrick-Supported Testing”
follow standard rolling participation thresholds only and do not require participant-funded testing MOQ activation.
Additional follow-up posts covering intake structure, participation flow, shipping framework, and fulfillment structure will be posted separately.
