Don't give up, don't settle... the dots will connect later
My 30 second summary of one of the greatest speeches ever - Steve Jobs (a must watch - link below) Connecting The Dots - You can only do this looking back so have to trust that dots will connect in the future. Believing the dots will connect in the future will give you the confidence to follow your heart even when it leads you off the well-worn path - and that will make all the difference. Love & Loss - Find what you love. You have to love what you do - it will keep you going in tough times. Sometimes life’s going to hit you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life and the only way to be truly satisfied, is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking and don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And like any great relationship, it will get better and better as the years roll on, so keep looking and don’t settle. Death - β€œIf you live each day as if it were your last, someday you will most certainly be right.” Look in the mirror every morning and ask yourself, if today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I’m about to do today? If the answer is β€œno” for too many days in a row, you know you need to change something. Remembering that you are going to die, is the best tool Steve knows to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart. Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Stay hungry, stay foolish.

Here's my 30 second summary: - Help others (Make the world a better place) - Don't worry about what other people think (Success is the best revenge) - Follow your passion (Much easier to put in the work if you love what you do) - Use what you have (It's about progress, not perfection) - Don't let limiting beliefs stop you (Do it anyway) - Never give up (Great things take time)

Failure should be our teacher
"Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. Failure is delay, not defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead end. Failure is something we can avoid only by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing." β€” Denis Waitley #keepgoing #nevergiveup
