Hi everyone, I’m Lee Jackson, founder of MoneyMap AI and the person behind the MoneyMap Financial Club. For years, I’ve worked in the tax and financial services industry, helping individuals, entrepreneurs, and business owners better understand their taxes and finances. One thing I’ve learned is that many people work extremely hard to earn money but were never taught how to truly understand what happens to that money after they earn it. Education has always been one of the most important parts of my work. I enjoy taking subjects that can feel complicated—taxes, business, income, expenses, and financial planning—and explaining them in a way everyday people can actually understand and use. Over the years, I kept seeing the same problem: people with irregular income—freelancers, gig workers, independent contractors, and entrepreneurs—often know how much money came in, but they don't always know their real profit, what they should prepare for taxes, or how much they can comfortably spend. That problem became part of the inspiration for creating MoneyMap AI. But I also wanted something beyond an app, which is why I created the MoneyMap Financial Club. My goal for this community is simple: education first. I want this to be a place where people can ask questions without feeling embarrassed, learn better financial habits, understand their numbers, share experiences, and become more confident about their financial decisions. You don't have to be an accountant or financial expert. You just need to be willing to learn. I'll be sharing what I've learned throughout my career, answering questions, creating challenges and bringing practical financial education into the community. And I want to learn from you too. Your experiences and challenges will help us build better resources—and ultimately make MoneyMap AI a better tool for the people it's designed to serve. To get started, introduce yourself below and tell me two things: 1. What do you do for income? 2. What's one thing about money or taxes you wish someone had taught you earlier?
