Happy St Valentines day!
I thought I'd share a short story I came across maybe 30 years ago.
It's something that touched me back then, and I hope it might touch others in the community now.
I heard it on a cassette tape ( remember those)?
From 'Manifest Your Destiny' by Dr Wayne Dyer.
A woman who was a severe drug addict, lay dying in her bed.
The local priest was summoned to read the last rights to her.
The priest noticed a framed picture of a young girl on the dressing table next to the bed.
Who is this girl he asked?
The dying woman replied ' That's my daughter, the one bright spark in my life, but I've ruined my life, and now I'm going painfully to hell'.
The priest continued....
'Would you always look after her, and love her for ever'?
' Of course I would. I would do anything for her, the woman cried. Why do you ask'?
The priest answered 'because I want you to know that God has a picture of you, on his dressing table'.
Always remember, YOU ARE LOVED!
It's impossible to be completely alone.
The force/energy that keeps your heart beating and the planet spinning, are one and the same.
