A New Fresh Perspective Can Change Everything! ✨
For the last few days I have felt terrible. I am rarely ever sick but the last few days have felt pretty awful. But the most incredible thing about being a Christian mama is relying on the Lord and His strength. His mercies are new every morning and His faithfulness is great. His grace is truly sufficient and I’m humbled this evening as I reflect on the last 48 hours. God has proven to me over and over again that He will carry me through the mountains and valleys. It’s wonderful to be on the mountain top enjoying this beautiful life He’s given to us. But it can be even more incredible to experience His strength showing up in our weakness. So tonight I want to remind you all the importance of gratitude. The Bible talks about it over and over again: 🌿 Gratitude as God’s Will 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 🕊 Gratitude Brings Peace Philippians 4:6–7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God… will guard your hearts and your minds.” 💛 Gratitude in Everyday Life Colossians 3:15–17 “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts… and be thankful… And whatever you do, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God.” So tonight I’m thankful that although I am sick currently, my overall health is so great. I’m thankful that my heart is beating and there is oxygen in my lungs. I’m thankful that I can walk, run, and jump! I’m thankful that I can see my beautiful babies faces, hear their laughter, taste hot eggs and crunchy toast with strawberry jelly, touch my sweet babies faces, and smell a hot cup of caramel coffee. I’m thankful for a warm house and cozy bed to sleep in at night. For food in the cupboards and clean water to drink… oh I could go on & on. No matter what we always have so much to be grateful for. So now it’s your turn! What are y’all grateful for? ❤️

How can we learn to think in a way that serves our Motherhood?
Over the last couple days I've been thinking about what it takes to change our minds. As christian women, most of us have heard of the scripture, "Take your thoughts captive and make them obedient to Christ." But how can we do this practically? I want to share with y'all what I found during my research because it was simple, practical, and gets me excited for more growth! I hope this encourages you as much as it has encouraged me! ❤️ The BEST way to change how you think (practically) You don’t change your thoughts by arguing with them. You change them by replacing them, rehearsing truth, and reinforcing new pathways daily. Think of your brain like a trail in the woods: - Old thoughts = well-worn paths - New thoughts = faint trails that must be walked every day to become automatic This is neuroplasticity + Scripture + habit, not willpower. Your DAILY Mind-Renewal Rhythm (15–20 minutes total) 1️⃣ Morning: Prime your mind before the day primes it (5 minutes) Before checking your phone or starting tasks: Ask yourself ONE anchoring question: “Who do I want to be today as a mother?” Then speak a replacement truth out loud (this matters). Example: - Old thought: “This day is going to drain me.” - New thought:“God has entrusted me with this work today, and He will meet me in it.” 📖 “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2 🔑 Say it out loud. Your brain encodes spoken words more strongly. 2️⃣ Throughout the day: Catch → Name → Replace (2–10 seconds each time) You don’t need to stop everything. Just practice this micro-reset. Step 1: Catch the thought “I hate this.”“I can’t do this.”“This isn’t what I signed up for.” Step 2: Name it “That is a stress thought—not truth.” Step 3: Replace it with ONE rehearsed phraseChoose a few and use them all week: - “This is hard, but it is not hopeless.” - “I can be calm even when my children are not.” - “This season is stretching me, not breaking me.” - “God chose me for these children.”
