Yesterday we talked about why more grammar rarely fixes the plateau. Here's a 2-minute exercise to find out which part of you actually needs the work.
Step 1: Think of the last time you spoke English and felt nervous or "not good enough."
Step 2: Ask yourself — in that moment, was I relating to English as:
a) A subject I'm being tested on, or
b) A tool I'm using to say something I actually mean?
Step 3: Write down the sentence that was running in your head right before you spoke. Something like "I hope I don't mess up the tenses" or "I hope this makes sense."
Step 4: Now flip it. Rewrite that sentence as something a confident communicator — not a student — would think instead.
Drop your before/after in the comments 👇 — I read every one, and I promise you're not the only one whose "before" sentence is brutal.
