Social Entrepenuers and helping people.
As a social entrepreneur, I’ve learned—sometimes through real frustration—that trying to help people begins with how we approach them. When I lead with what I want to do, I’ve seen how rightly protective people are of the communities and services they care for, and that protection comes from love and responsibility. I’ve also had the privilege of walking alongside others, sharing ideas and skills that helped their programs grow, strengthen, and truly bloom as they served people well. Along the way, I’ve discovered that the work isn’t about taking credit, but about stepping back and watching how God opens doors and does the deeper work. Slowing down, listening first, and thinking ahead has become essential. Scripture grounds me in this posture: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5–6). My hope is to keep working with others in humility and trust, believing God will continue to guide our shared efforts to help people well.
