12 Minutes
You practiced what you were going to say in the car, out loud, more than once, so it wouldn't sound crazy: the exhaustion that sleep never touches, the heart that races while you stand still, the fog that swallows whole afternoons.
Twelve minutes later, you sit in the parking lot holding a prescription you never asked for, and the tests they ran came back fine.
So you drive home and start editing yourself. Maybe you need even more sleep. Maybe your age explains it. Maybe stress accounts for all of it.
Your head invented none of it. Your body may have been telling the truth the whole time. Maybe no one has had the time, tools, or curiosity to ask the next right question.
In here, we ask.
