@Dr Keith Brennan & @Dr. Melissa Partaka joined me at our first IRL event today at the Detroit Institute of Arts in Detroit. We had the opportunity to get to know each other a little, learn about how we are using Skool, and get to enjoy some beautiful artwork. Dr. Keith brought his son who seemed to be enjoying the artwork as well, and Dr. Melissa brought her daughter who also seemed to enjoy the experience. This weekend I had the absolute pleasure to attend the Men of God retreat with my cousins church. I also had the absolute honor to deliver one of the sessions after lunch on Saturday. I spoke on Kingdom Mindset: Win The War Within. Something I have been shaping over the past several years wth various wars I have been involved in. Many of my own doing, others as a result of those around me, but all had a spiritual element. Such a blessing to be with 15 to 20 guys sharing war stories, helping each other, praying for each other, and of course worshiping God. Can't wait for the next retreat and see what God is able to do between now and then for all of the men that were there.

I don't know about you, but I love the weekend. It's a time to slow down. A time to be with family, friends, or just get out of the normal day to day for most of us. This weekend I am going to a men's retreat, and I get the honor of being able to deliver a message to this group of men on Saturday after lunch. I'm beyond excited.
