Are your “goals” really goals… or are they just disguised dreams?
The difference between dreams and goals is action.
Dreams are ideas you talk about.Goals are commitments you schedule.
Dreams sound like:
“I want to get in shape.”
“I want to start that business.”
“I want to be more disciplined.”
Goals sound like:
“I will work out 4 days this week at 6 AM.”
“I will outline my business plan by Friday.”
“I will wake up at the same time every day for the next 30 days.”
A dream becomes a goal the moment you attach:
• A deadline
• A measurable target
• A consistent action plan
Sounds like a lot of work right? It is. If it was easy, everyone would be wildly successful.
The truth is, success is not reserved for the most talented. It is earned by the most committed.
Are you committed to a goal? Or are you just dreaming?
