Road less Traveled
A Toast to Growth
on a Humble Road
A journey alone
Captured by seasons unknown
Along a darkened road
Carved by a Riverside
With sharpened bends
Over jagged ends, giving way
To a stunning overlay of
Of bold mountain peaks
Frosted in a brisk winter freeze
Melting behind foothills
Blanketed by an array of trees
To an unveiling canopy
Beyond on effervescent road
Outlined by orange groves
While they blossom the air
Awakening notes of citrus
Paired with the essence
Of sweet nectar below
That ripens under a sunny glow
Over a luminescent road
Where the leaves let go
In an array of color
To a subtle breeze
As they Dance in sequence
Then resting with ease
Accentuating the subtle curves
Beside a hardened road
Carved by a Riverside
Where His grace and mercies
Nurture and provide
As He guides one's journey unknown
On a humble road home
