Introvert Advantage: The Cheat Code to Talking to Sellers
Hey fam — just wanted to drop something real quick that might help if you're feeling stuck when talking to sellers. As an introvert, I used to think I’d be at a disadvantage in this game—but it turns out, our ability to actively listen is one of our biggest superpowers. Listening without the urge to fill the silence gave me a serious edge when speaking to sellers.
But things really started to shift when I read/listened Chris Voss’s “Never Split The Difference.” That book became a cheat code for me in negotiations. The techniques he lays out—mirroring, labeling, tactical empathy—helped me structure my convos with sellers in a way that felt natural and persuasive.
One of the best pieces of advice I’ve ever received came from Brian Iregbu. He told me:
“You don’t need to get on the phone and have all the answers—just be the inquisitive reporter and make a friend.”
That one sentence changed everything. You don’t need to be a sales shark. Be curious. Be calm. Be human.
Pair that mindset with the magical phrases from the resource we’ve got in this group (trust me, gold in there) and I’m confident you’ll start filling your lead pipeline with real conversations that convert.
Happy Friday y’all—keep sharpening your sword.💪📞🔥
