Passion vs. career ,where's the balance ?

My daughter has become deeply focused on travel ,connecting with travelers and constantly talking about exploring the world. While I respect her passion, I’ve been encouraging her to think about building a stable career or business.

I’ve shared examples of when her dad got a sponsored trip through his job to show that travel can align with professional growth. But I’m starting to wonder , Is this just youthful passion, or is it becoming a distraction?

Anyone here navigated something similar with a young adult? How do you support passion without losing sight of long-term goals?
