Hello to all, I released 3 songs last year starting in August, then November & December. I'm working on a song I thought I would release in February but it's not ready yet. I've listened to many of your songs in this link module and as usual there is a bunch of good music coming out of mastering.com. You guys and girls have crazy skill and are only getting better. I thought I'd post a song or two and get your responses, good or bad just you honest opinions. We've got a whole new year to improve, and that's what I know we are all doing with a vengeance (improving).😊 Oh! and my new name with my new release is "Koko Static". Hi everyone, I’ve just finished mastering this mix from the Cambridge Multitracks library, and I’d really appreciate some constructive feedback. The main issue I encountered was in the first verse, when the vocals enter. Because of the limited instrumentation in the background, the vocals sounded slightly off. I managed to improve this, but I feel the issue might still be present, just less noticeable. I’d also love to hear your thoughts on the overall balance. Please note that this is not my song, and I don’t have access to the multitrack files, so I’m unable to go back to the mix. I’ll post here the original mix (downloaded directly from Cambridge), the two reference tracks I used, and the final master.
