📋 Description:
This automation is designed to streamline the room preparation process for daily guest check-ins by pulling reservation and listing data from Guesty and sending a tailored WhatsApp message to the operations team. Here's how it works, step by step:
🔄 Automation Steps:
- 🕐 Trigger Daily (Every Morning)The scenario is scheduled to run every day (e.g., at 7 AM) to fetch the day’s check-in data
- 🔍 Search for All Reservations with Today's Check-InUsing the Guesty API, we search for all reservations that have a check-in date equal to today.
- 📄 Loop Through Each ReservationFor each reservation found, we perform the following:
- 🏨 Fetch Custom Listing FieldsRetrieve the custom fields of the listing linked to the reservation, such as cleaning notes, room type, amenities, etc.
- 🏷️ Extract Tags from ReservationIdentify reservation tags like "VIP", "Self Check-In", "Late Arrival", etc., to help the team understand the type of service needed.
- 📊 Aggregate All Check-In RoomsCollect and format the list of room names/numbers and associated instructions into a clean message format.
- 📲 Send WhatsApp Message to TeamA single, well-structured WhatsApp message is sent to the operations team via Twilio or WhatsApp Business API that says
