Let’s all get on the same page about what the fundamentals of card magic are! If you’re a beginner, these are the techniques and ideas that you will build your repertoire on top of for the coming years. If you’re an intermediate or expert card shark, you probably know most of this… however I guarantee there will some gems in here that would be worth your time and attention. I will be building on top of these foundations in every tutorial that I post in here. Brush up on the basics now :)

The card controls you learned in the beginners course are all done while shuffling or mixing the cards in some way. These are great! Depending on the context… These controls are “invisible”, meaning you’ll be using sleight of hand to control cards without mixing the cards or giving the spectator any indication that cards are moving places.

These are the books that every good magician has used to learn magic before now!! I've covered updated versions of a lot of these moves, but there is still so much value in reading through all of this work. I've added notes on what parts of each book I think is particularly important when applicable!
