Small win
Wanted to share a quick win from this week.
I’ve had a networking event on my calendar for months. Kept missing it for different reasons. This time I committed to going. I also had to bring my 4-year-old with me, so I loaded her up with an iPad, coloring stuff, and snacks and we went together.
I stayed close, kept an eye on her, and still made the effort to talk with other business owners.
Result: I booked a demo next week with a home remodeling company.
Big takeaway for me was how important it is to have your elevator pitch dialed in. It made conversations smoother and gave me confidence walking up to people. Still improving it, but the reps helped a lot.
Reminder: you don’t need perfect conditions to get results. You need to show up.
