There is probably a sentence you have repeated about yourself so many times that you no longer hear it as a sentence.
You hear it as truth.
“I always quit.”
“I’m terrible with money.”
“I’m not confident.”
“I overthink everything.”
“I’m just not that kind of person.”
“That’s who I am.”
Those are the kinds of statements we examine here.
For this thread, post one identity statement you catch yourself repeating.
Then underneath it, rewrite it as a direction instead of a verdict.
Example:
Old code: “I always avoid conflict.”
New code: “I am becoming someone who handles difficult conversations directly and respectfully.”
