Penpal

When I was in the sixth grade, my class was given a list of names, one of which we each got to choose as someone we would write a letter to. I chose a little girl from Switzerland, wrote her a letter, she wrote me back, and that was the beginning of a friendship that lasted many years through letters.

It has dawned on me that this wonderful platform is much like that. When I look at the map and see that we are connected all across the world, I realize that this is such a wonderful opportunity to create some beautifully unexpected friendships.
