Most people think they're listening.
They're not.
They're waiting for their turn to speak.
They're rehearsing their answer.
They're thinking about what to say next.
And that's exactly why they miss important details, ask weak follow-up questions, and struggle to build connection.
Active listening is one of the most valuable communication skills you can develop.
It helps you:
✅ Build trust faster
✅ Think more clearly under pressure
✅ Ask better questions
✅ Perform better in meetings, presentations, and job interviews
But reading about it isn't enough.
You have to practice it.
So I'm looking for one brave volunteer to do a live roleplay with me.
We'll work through a real conversation and practice active listening in real time.
You'll get feedback, and everyone watching will learn from it too.
Who wants to volunteer? 👇
(If you've ever left a conversation and realized you missed half of what was said, this exercise is for you.) 🎯
