Video Title: Rewire Your Brain – Train Your Subconscious Mind
What is the subconscious mind?
The subconscious mind is the part of your brain that automatically stores everything you learn and experience. These thoughts, habits, and memories stay in your mind unless you consciously work to change or replace them.
How to change them?
Step 1: Daily Journaling
The first step to train your subconscious mind is to write a journal daily.
In this journal, you should write:
- Your daily wins
- Your setbacks or mistakes
- Everything you did throughout the day
- Your feelings during different parts of the day (for example: after waking up, during exercise, etc.)
- Your thoughts at different times of the day and what you were thinking
Start doing this consistently for 7 days. After completing it, you will start noticing benefits yourself. Gradually, it will no longer feel like a burden, and it will become a daily habit.
Why journaling is important?
A journal works like your second brain. When you write everything down:
- You don’t need to keep everything in your mind
- Your brain feels more relaxed and less overloaded
- It becomes easier to manage daily life problems
- Your mind gets more space to focus on creativity and problem-solving
Step 2: Observing Your Thoughts (Mind Awareness Practice)
In this step, you practice observing your thoughts.
This means you start noticing:
- What you are thinking at any moment
- Whether your thoughts are positive or negative
- Becoming aware of your mental patterns
By doing this practice, you begin to understand your brain’s activity. You become able to recognize negative thoughts early and resist them.
Over time, this helps you:
- Reduce negative thinking
- Improve focus on your tasks
- Develop a more positive mindset
There is a saying:
“We suffer more in imagination than in reality.”
This means we often think negatively about things that have not even happened. So, we should try to avoid this habit.
Step 3: Repetition (Affirmations Practice)
Repetition means repeating positive statements to yourself through:
- Tongue (speaking aloud)
- Mind (thinking deeply)
- Heart (feeling it emotionally)
For example:
- “I am a superwoman.”
- “I can do anything.”
It is important not just to say these words randomly, but to truly feel them and believe them. This creates a strong connection between your thoughts and emotions.
Step 4: Understanding Pros and Cons
In this step, you learn to analyze the things you want to install in your mind for the long term.
You should understand:
- The advantages (pros) of positive habits or thoughts
- The disadvantages (cons) of negative habits or thoughts
When you clearly understand both sides, it becomes easier to:
- Remove negative thoughts
- Make better mental choices
- Train your brain in a positive direction
Step 5: Feeling the Outcome (Emotional Visualization)
In this step, you imagine and feel the emotions of positive results.
This includes:
- Feeling how good results would emotionally impact you
- Also understanding the negative consequences of bad habits
This emotional awareness helps you:
- Stay away from negative actions
- Avoid justifying harmful habits
- Stay loyal to your health and personal growth
In simple terms, when you deeply feel the consequences of your actions, it becomes easier to choose better ones.
This ultimately helps you become successful in all aspects of life.
NOW, WHAT TO REWIRE IN YOUR BRAIN?
Extreme Ownership Mindset:
Extreme ownership means taking full responsibility for your life and actions. You should not blame others for the problems or failures in your life.
Instead, you should understand that:
- Your life is largely in your control
- Allah has instructed us to work hard and make effort, not to remain passive
- Blaming others does not solve problems; self-reflection does
There is a saying:
“When someone feels stuck in life, they often blame others instead of reflecting on their own actions or thinking about what they could have done or can do differently.”
Action Step:
Each day, ask yourself:
- “What did I do today to take full control of my success?”
You can also write daily reminders for yourself, such as:
- “No one can waste my time without my permission.”
- Learn to say “no” when necessary
Not everything requires a “yes.” Protecting your time is important.
Also, break your tasks into small steps so you don’t feel overwhelmed.
Consistency Principle:
A key mindset idea is:
“The way you do anything is the way you do everything.”
This means your approach to small tasks reflects how you handle bigger goals. Therefore, try to do everything with focus, effort, and care.
Reflection Practice (Not Just Journaling):
Journaling is not enough on its own. You should also reflect on it.
Include:
- Weekly reflections
- Monthly reflections
This helps you:
- Identify patterns in your behavior
- Understand what needs improvement
- Track personal growth over time
5. Focus and Productivity Habits:
To improve productivity:
- Avoid multitasking too much
- Your brain has limited energy, so focus on one major task at a time each day
Also, mentally prepare your tasks before starting them (visualization/manifestation). This helps:
- Reduce procrastination
- Improve execution quality
Tracking your daily tasks helps you understand:
- Where your time is going
- Where your energy should be invested
Deep Work & Focus Mode:
Train your mind to stay focused by repeating affirmations like:
- “I am the most focused person in the world.”
- “No one can distract me.”
This helps reduce distractions such as social media and improves concentration.
Think long-term:
- Remind yourself of your goals
- Understand the importance of time in achieving success
- Avoid wasting time on unnecessary distractions
This mindset helps you stay disciplined and move steadily toward your goals.
