"Lately, I've realised “La-haasil ki tamanna insaan ko na-shukra bana deti hai” that we begin to ignore the entire universe of blessings around us and complain to Allah over just one thing ‘Allah bas yehi toh manga tha.’
Hum bhool jaty hain ‘nothing is impossible for Allah.’ Allah chahy toh abbi aata kar dey lekin Allah wo jaanta hai jo hum nahi jaanty. Allah aazmata hai.
When we raise our hands in dua, sometimes the answer comes wrapped as a trial. Kabhi sabar karna parta hai. Sometimes Allah responds through signs, slowly unfolding what our hearts are not yet ready to understand.
For Allah nothing is impossible. He says ‘Kun … and it is’. The Qur’an reminds us : ‘When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, Be – and it is.’
Fir hum kaise gumaan kar lete hain ke Allah namumkin ko mumkin nahi bana sakta?
Hum kaise maan lete hain ke Allah humara nahi sunta, when He Himself says, ‘I am near. I respond to the call of the caller when he calls upon Me?’
And how do we say there is no peace in our lives, when Allah has promised that ‘true peace lies in His remembrance’.
How do we feel alone, when Allah tells us “He is closer to you than your own jugular vein”?
Perhaps the problem was never that Allah was distant perhaps it was our fixation on one unanswered dua that blinded us to all the mercy already surrounding us.
Allah was always near. Always listening. Always responding just not always in the way we expected, but always in the way we needed.
Nothing is ever impossible for Allah. Wo har cheez par qadir hai."
