Need Guidance About Dummy Bidding Session
Assalam o Alaikum everyone, I need some guidance regarding the Dummy Bidding session.
I’ve been attending the session for the last 4–5 days, but honestly, I’m still confused about how to learn from it and use it properly.
From what I understand so far:
- We search Upwork jobs (mostly Video Editor jobs)
- We observe green flags & red flags in job posts
- Then we add selected jobs into a document and submit it as an assignment
My confusion is:
- What is the main purpose of dummy bidding?
- How should I analyze jobs correctly (what exactly to focus on)?
- How does this help in real bidding later?
- How can I turn this activity into a practical skill instead of just watching others do it?
- What should a beginner mindset be while doing dummy bidding?
If any senior or mentor can explain:

- What to note down
- And how to get maximum benefit
