Comparison Is Slowly Killing You
You scroll and see someone younger than you making more money.
Someone with fewer resources doing bigger things.
Someone with a life you wish you had.
And what do you do?
You compare.
You beat yourself up.
You convince yourself you’re “behind.”
Let me break it for you:
Comparison is the thief of progress.
Because while you’re busy watching their life, you’re wasting yours.
You don’t know their sacrifices.
You don’t know the nights they stayed up working.
You don’t know the rejections they ate before they got that win.
But you assume they had it easy. And that’s why you stay bitter.
Listen... your only competition is the person you were yesterday.
If you’re not moving forward, that’s the problem.
Not that some random on Instagram is “ahead of you.”
Keep comparing, and you’ll stay stuck.
Focus on your own lane, and you’ll finally start building.
At the end of the day, your life won’t change because you envied theirs.
It will change when you put your head down and work on yours.
