DAY 7: Assemble Your Composition...Final Step!!
Composition focus: Completion.
Now combine everything into a short piece.
Your composition should include:
- Clear home
- Motion away
- Tension
- Resolution
- At least two phrases
Example Structure:
  • Phrase 1: Home → Away
  • Phrase 2: Tension → Resolution
8–16 bars is perfect.
It does NOT need to be complex. It needs to be intentional.
Final Reflection:
What part of your piece:
  • created the most tension?
  • felt the most satisfying to resolve?
  • surprised you the most?
You didn’t just practice theory. You composed music with direction.
That’s the skill that separates guessing from creating.
