As I have said in the video the group is new and its starting the same day as the YouTube channel so it's going to take time to grow but I will be quite active in the chat if you want to speak to me. I'm Starting a YouTube Channel From ZERO — And You're Coming With Me I’ve decided to do something a little different. I already have my own YouTube channel, and it is monetised. So I’m not starting this journey because I don’t know how YouTube works. But I want to do something that I think could be incredibly useful for this community. I’m going to start a brand-new YouTube channel completely from scratch. No existing audience. I have no idea how fast it will grow. No subscribers. No videos. Starting from ZERO. The channel is called - YOUTUBE OVER 50. And the reason I’m doing this is simple: I want you to be able to follow the entire journey with me. I’ll be documenting what I do on YouTube, while also sharing the process, lessons, successes and mistakes right here inside our community. You’ll see how I approach: 🎥 Creating the channel 🎯 Choosing a niche 💡 Coming up with video ideas 🖼️ Creating thumbnails ✍️ Writing titles and descriptions 📈 Growing the channel 👥 Getting subscribers 💰 Working towards monetisation And I'm not going to pretend everything will work. Some things will. Some things won't. And I think that is exactly what will make this useful. We also have a target. 🎯 The goal is to get -YOUTUBE OVER 50- monetised before the new YouTube rules come into effect on 1st February 2027. So this isn't just theory. It's a real channel, a real challenge and a real deadline. And if you've ever thought: "I'd love to start a YouTube channel, but I don't know where to begin." "Am I too old to start?" "What would I make videos about?" "How do I actually get subscribers?" "Can someone over 50 really build a successful channel?" Then I want you to come along for the ride. I can't wait to help you on your journey. I have learnt the hard way how to build my channel since 2020 and I think the new YouTube update is a positive thing. But why its going to be 8000 hours watch time ? because if you have already started a channel and its not going as well as you would like or you have been thinking of starting a channel but kept putting it off then this is just what you need A DEADLINE !
