I was reading John 9 this week — the story of the man who was blind from birth.
His disciples wanted to know who was to blame. Was it him? Was it his parents?
Jesus stopped them right there.
“Neither. This happened so the works of God might be displayed.”
That hit me differently today.
Because how many of us have been carrying shame around our setbacks?
The layoff that blindsided you.
The career that stalled out.
The savings that didn’t stretch far enough.
The season that just… didn’t go the way you planned.
We ask ourselves — what did I do wrong?
But what if the better question is —
What is God setting up?
That man didn’t just get his sight back.
He got a testimony that people are still talking about 2,000 years later.
Your struggle has a purpose, friend.
And you didn’t land in this community by accident.
Drop a 🙏 below if this spoke to you today.
And if you’re in a season that’s hard to make sense of right now — tell us where you are. This community shows up for each other.
I’m rooting for you! 💛
