Weekend Motivation - Keep Going Queens! You will get there!
I reposted this here because I think somebody in this community may need the reminder today: 50+ ain’t for punks — but neither are we. 💛 We have lived through enough to know that a hard season is not the same thing as a final chapter. We’ve had to pivot, rebuild, let go, start over, pray through things we didn’t understand, and keep moving even when we were tired. And somehow, we’re still here. Still learning. Still dreaming. Still becoming. I really believe this season of life is less about trying to become who we used to be and more about finally stepping fully into who all of those experiences prepared us to become. So if you’re in the middle of a setback, transition, or one of those “what now?” seasons, don’t count yourself out. Stand. This too shall pass. And remember — we know our merchandise is good. 😉

WORK LESS. LIVE MORE - But Let’s Be Clear About What That Means.
I’ve been thinking a lot about how we’ve been taught to define “security.” For most of our adult lives, many of us were told the responsible thing was simple: ✅ Get a good job. ✅ Work hard. ✅ Stay loyal. ✅ Save for retirement. And hopefully, after 30 or 40 years, you’ll finally have enough freedom to enjoy your life. But somewhere along the way, I started asking a different question: Why does freedom have to wait until retirement? When I say Work Less. Live More., I am NOT talking about avoiding work. I’m talking about building a life where one employer doesn’t get to control nearly all of your income, your schedule, your flexibility—and potentially your financial future. There is a big difference between having a paycheck and having options. A paycheck can provide income without providing freedom. And especially in midlife, I believe one of the smartest things we can do is begin creating additional ways to earn that aren’t completely dependent on whether a company decides to keep employing us. That might mean learning AI. It might mean developing digital or marketing skills. It might mean consulting, freelancing, coaching, creating digital products, building an online business—or simply experimenting until you discover what works for you. The goal isn’t necessarily to quit your job tomorrow. The goal is to reach the point where your job can eventually become an option instead of your only option. That’s the kind of freedom I want us thinking about inside this community. Not “How can I stop working?” But: How can I build income around the life I actually want to live? And I’m curious about you… If you could change ONE thing about the way you currently earn money—your hours, your location, your income ceiling, your dependence on an employer, or something else—what would it be? Drop it below. 👇🏽 I have a feeling we’re going to discover that a lot of us want the same thing: More control. More options. More life. 💛

WORK LESS. LIVE MORE - But Let’s Be Clear About What That Means.
I'm Back! (Kind of...)
Hey Friends! I've missed you! It's been almost a month of quiet on my end, and I want to be honest with you about why — because that's always been the promise of this space: no polished script, just the real journey. On January 26th, life took a sharp turn for me and I started walking a road I didn't choose. My dearest friend of over 25 years — a woman who became like a second mom to me after I lost my own mother — began a health journey that would go on to consume nearly every quiet moment of my life for months. I tried to keep showing up here and on social media, trying to encourage others and resume building this community and my business — while a piece of my heart was crumbling a little more each day. On July 4th, she completed her journey here on Earth and was promoted to her Heavenly Reward. And if I'm honest, it knocked the wind out of my sails in a way I wasn't fully prepared for. We prayed and believed for the best but as the end grew near we knew it was just a matter of time - and I just needed a minute. So thank you for sticking with me. I know, in my heart of hearts, that she's in a far better place. Scripture tells us that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8), and I took comfort in knowing that when she closed her eyes here on Earth, she opened them in Heaven with our Lord and Savior and those who went on before her. But knowing where she is now doesn't erase how much I and so many others who love her miss her here. Both things are true at once — she's home, and I'm heartbroken. Grief and faith have been holding hands through all of this, and I'm learning that's allowed. If you're going through a hard time or something similar, I encourage you to keep going, have faith, trust the process and believe better is coming. There were days I wondered if I had the strength to keep going myself. I share this not for sympathy, but because I suspect some of you know exactly what that tension feels like: showing up for everyone else while something in you is quietly breaking. If that's you right now, in any corner of your life — I see you. You're not failing because it's hard.
