If you had thigh liposuction or you’re thinking about getting it, there are a few things about recovery that you should know beforehand. You will look larger than you actually are because you are swollen. This swelling is heavy and can make walking and climbing steps hard. If you are someone that works (even remotely) and stand/sits often this can cause more swelling below knee (namely in the ankles + feet) Depending on if you placed the fat somewhere it will determine what your recovery looks like. No fat transfer to your butt? Then you can expect laying with your legs up against a wall to be your best friend because gravity will naturally help with lymphatic drainage. Another variation would be elevating on a stack of pillows. (Also keeping in mind you will also be able to do this if your doctor gives clearance for sitting) Dry brushing towards the lymph nodes in your pelvis / groin / behind the ankle is a simple way to stimulate your lymphatic system without stress.
