Dear Embracers, Sometimes we carry thorns, quiet aches, persistent struggles, or burdens that never seem to lift. They press into our sides, reminding us of our humanity, our weakness, our need. But even with those thorns, God’s grace is not diminished. In fact, it shines brighter. His grace doesn’t remove every thorn, but it empowers us to walk anyway. To speak anyway. To love anyway. To do what He has called us to do, not because we are strong, but because He is. Just like Paul, who pleaded for the thorn to be taken away, we may not always get the answer we hope for. But we do get the promise: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9). So, if you’re feeling pierced today, remember: the thorn doesn’t disqualify you. It may just be the very thing that keeps you leaning into the One who called you. And His grace will carry you through. You’re still chosen. Still called. Still covered!
