In politics, people are often pulled between the comfort of entertainment and the responsibility of leadership. Entertainment offers escape, a way to tune out the noise, the conflict, the constant demands of public life. Leadership, on the other hand, requires presence, courage, and a willingness to bear the weight of decisions that affect others. Many people say that in moments of uncertainty, they look toward their faith to guide which path to choose. Some believe God calls them to step forward, to lead with integrity and compassion.
