Welcome!
Hey everyone! Thank you so much for joining the community and Merry Christmas! Let this be an introduction post where you share why you are here, or what you would like to learn. Imagine it like a really cringy camp get to know you game. Honestly, this helps me know what kind of content to build out in the future that is tailored for our community! Ya'll have the best day, and can't wait to join in a session with ya'll soon!!
Great Video in the course section
Luke, I just got done watching your course video and I loved the tips you gave. I do have a couple questions for you. 1. what do you do when you get sick? I have been fighting a sinus infection that has my voice all messed up and it genuinely hurts to talk. I am only a 3rd of the way through making the content for my Free Foundations lesson and I have had to stop filming. which also means all other filming (for socials) has stopped. do you have any tips for when life throws curve balls like this? 2. I agree with not chasing trends, but in my niche (leathercraft) the ASMR style videos seem like more of a requirement then a trend. Do you have any tips for those super close up shots? I have a Samsung s23 ultra, a insta360 Link 2 webcam, a logitech brio 4k webcam, and a logitech C922 webcam. just to give you an idea of what I'm working with

New Year - New Course
Happy New Year, everyone! I am so thankful to start the year off with you all and can't wait to see what 2026 has in store for all of us! If you head over to the classroom, you will see the first lesson posted and ready to go. This is an abbreviated version of a larger course I have coming up in the next week. I would love for you to give it a watch and give any feedback you might have. Over the next few weeks, I am working on courses based around Live Video, Video Tools, How-To Tech, and creator tips for social posting. If there is a course you would like to see, please reach out and let me know by either commenting or shooting me an e-mail at [email protected] Thanks for being here, love ya'll, and have a great first day of the year!
Selfie Stick - Must Have
It's been a day of knocking content out. I've filmed around 25 videos today and scheduled videos for multiple channels for multiple days. I couldn't have done it this quickly without the right tools, but that doesn't have to mean you are spending a ton of money. This simple selfie stick is my jam. Easy to travel with, easy to use, can upgrade your phone mount if you need, and is sturdy (enough). If you are getting into filming and using a phone for your content, this is a really solid option! https://amzn.to/3YdGOCs (Commissions Earned)
Struggling?
I would love to know one thing you are struggling with specifically when it comes to video/photo or production in general.
