Underground Bunker Trend
People love to watch videos that show a final end result. This is the reason why cooking videos are so popular. That same logic also applies to AI building videos. This video is a prime example, as of this posting it has almost 39M views on Youtube in just 2 days!! The AI creates a perfect, fluid motion of digging and building that bypasses the mess and struggle of real construction. This level of smooth, rapid progression triggers a "satisfying" psychological response in viewers. The contrast between the simple backyard setting at the start and the high-tech, cozy interior at the end creates a "reveal" that encourages users to watch until the very last second, which is a key metric for viral algorithms. The video uses a rapid-fire time-lapse style that keeps the viewer’s attention locked as a muddy hole is instantly transformed into a modern, fully furnished living space. Abandoned Trend
Have you seen this abandoned trend yet? These videos are blowin up across social media. This example video is focusing on the "haunted museum" or "post-human gallery" sub-genre and it has gained 4.9M views in being on Instagram for a little over a month. What stands out about this video is the high engagement rate. It has 267k likes and 3k+ comments. Those are exceptional numbers! This trend utilizes generative AI to blend historical figures with realistic textures of decay, such as dust, cobwebs, and cracked wax surfaces. The trend relies on the "Uncanny Valley" effect—where the figures look almost human but are just "off" enough to be unsettling—enhanced by AI’s ability to simulate low-light flashlight movements and deep shadows to mimic real urban exploration (Urbex) footage. Using beloved legends like Michael Jackson, Prince, and Freddie Mercury creates an immediate emotional hook. The use of a slowed-down, somber soundtrack complements the visual decay, amplifying the emotional impact and encouraging users to share the video as a "mood" or "aesthetic" piece.
