Who should I listen to?
Every time I try to enhance my English, I get conflicting advice from people, some of whom are native speakers and post reels on Facebook.
For example
One says: don't say "I'm sorry", say "I apologize".
Another says: don't say "I apologize", say "my bad".
A third suggests that "my bad" is inappropriate and recommends "my fault" instead.
This confusion is really frustrating for me as a new learner.
How to deal with conflicting advice?
What is the best way to know which expression is appropriate without feeling overwhelmed?
