Let’s talk balance
Not the “life balance” kind — the literal kind. The kind where one wrong step on uneven pavement turns into a whole ordeal, or where you’ve quietly rearranged your entire walking route because of one curb you don’t trust. For those of us with LLD, balance isn’t abstract. It’s shoes, it’s surfaces, it’s knowing which shoulder you lean toward on a bad day. So tell me: • What’s your biggest balance challenge — flat ground, stairs, uneven terrain? • Has anything actually helped (footwear, bracing, a walking aid, sheer stubbornness)? • Any “wish someone had told me this sooner” moments? Drop it below. Chances are someone else in this community has been exactly where you are. 👟

Cobbler
Anyone found a cobbler that charges less than $160 per shoe?
What’s actually helped you with your LLD and chronic pain?
What’s actually helped you with your LLD and chronic pain? I’ll go first: cobbler-modified shoes changed everything for me. The right lift in the right shoe = a totally different day in my body. But I know it’s never just one thing. Stretching routines, PT, certain shoe brands, mindset shifts, finding the right doctor who finally listened — drop what’s worked for you below. 👇 Trying to build out a real resource list from this community’s lived experience, not just what Google says. #LLD #LegLengthDiscrepancy #LLDAwareness #ChronicPain #CobblerModified

You Are Not Alone in This
I went 20 years without knowing why my body felt the way it did. A car accident when I was young changed everything — but nobody connected the dots for two decades. No diagnosis. No answers. Just a body that felt different and a world that didn’t understand why. Five years ago I finally learned the words: Leg Length Discrepancy. Two years ago I got my first proper shoes. And this past year? I’ve been on a mission — finding people like us all over the world. Because if I spent 20 years not knowing, I know I’m not the only one. That’s why this community exists. Not just to raise awareness — but so that nobody has to figure this out alone. If you found this page, you’re already in the right place. Drop a comment and tell me your story. I want to know you. 💛 #LLD #LegLengthDiscrepancy #LLDAwareness #LLDAwarenessHub #AdaptiveFootwear
