Welcome! Here is what to expect!
Freedom After Survival A community for women who are rebuilding their lives after abuse, addiction, loss, divorce, trauma, or other life-changing experiences—and who are ready to create a future defined by freedom rather than survival. This is a place for women who have spent years taking care of everyone else, walking on eggshells, fighting battles nobody could see, or simply trying to make it through the day. Here, we believe healing doesn’t always happen within four walls. Sometimes it happens on a solo road trip, a walk through an unfamiliar town, a conversation with a stranger, or the moment you realize you’re no longer afraid to choose your own path. Whether you’re taking your first weekend getaway alone, dreaming about traveling full-time, rebuilding your confidence, or discovering who you are beyond your past, you’ll find support from women who understand. Together, we share stories, resources, encouragement, and practical tools for creating lives filled with purpose, connection, adventure, and self-trust. Because survival was only the beginning. Freedom is what comes next. Are you ready?

Good Morning! Hope you have a Wanderful Day
Good morning, Wanderers! I hope you all have a great day. Let’s start the day by posting a travel photo. This is the smallest house in Old San Juan. It isn’t occupied but makes a great photo spot.

Good Morning!
Good morning everyone! Hope you are all having a great day so far. I am currently sitting on the train in Boston eating lunch. I work on the Amtrak Downeaster and we travel from Brunswick, Maine to Boston, Massachusetts. I am the cafe attendant/bartender. We get an hour and a half layover here so i take off on a “micro vacation “ I walk around the city and grab a Maple Latte and just enjoy my own company. It’s close to 80 here today. Here are a few pics i took during my adventure. What is your job? Are you full time here? Let me know in the comments 💚
Good Morning!
