XAUUSD Buys - 20.08.26
Following yesterday’s massive bullish expansion, I’m looking to capitalize on the continuation toward the 4546 level and potentially beyond.
Yesterday’s aggressive bullish move came after the U.S. Treasury announced an increase in the maximum size of its long-end nominal Treasury buyback operations, from $2B to at least $4B per operation.
The mechanism is straightforward:
Treasury buying bonds → Bond demand ↑ → Bond prices ↑ → Treasury yields ↓
For Gold (XAUUSD), lower Treasury yields especially falling real yields can create a more supportive bullish environment.
I’ve already discussed the other macro fundamentals supporting Gold in my recent bullish analysis. With those factors still in play, I’m now adding to the position with a long trade, following the latest reaction from a key bullish price-action zone.
The bigger picture remains bullish, and I’m looking for continuation toward 4546 and potentially higher.
