Rest is not something you earn. It is something your nervous system requires.
You cannot think your way into regulation. You cannot push through into restoration. At some point you have to actually stop β and let your body do what it was designed to do when the threat signals quiet down.
Today is that day.
Drink the water. Eat the real food. Go outside for ten minutes. Let something be unfinished without fixing it.
