The results of training
Sometimes training may feel like it’s stalling as the results you are looking for are not as fast as you might like. You have to remember that horses learn individually and sometimes the most important thing is to be patient and trust the process. Also keep in mind that you set the tone for the training sessions - it’s better to keep calm and focus on small steps. Horses can also frustrate if they don’t feel comfortable working with you. …then one day you will notice some real progress! Look at Likka here - would you believe that not that long ago she didn’t let anyone come near her in the pen?

How should training horses look like?
There was a time, when I thought that skillful horse training was about staying on, or controlling a difficult horse. Learning more about horses has shown me, that actually, horse training should look like there is not much happening there. What are your thoughts about this?
