God wasn’t meant to be inaccessible. The gift of salvation wasn’t meant to be unattainable.
In the past several years, I’ve watched a great many Christian people tear down other people (even other Christian’s, over little details that make them different. Christ didn’t offer salvation based on human constructs. He actually told the woman at the well that there would come a day where we don’t have said constructs on how and when and where we worship Him. I can’t imagine how a lot of Christians in today’s world don’t read their bible and see a lot of the things Christ himself was up against in his ministry and life in how we treat one another today. I’m an Orthodox Christian, women are very limited in their roles in the church, Orthodox or otherwise. But that’s not by example really as he healed and welcomed some into his fold too. (The woman at the well, Martha and Mary, Mary Magdalene, the woman who bled for 12 years, the women who anointed his feet and washed them with their hair, Joanna ) I think God puts a lot more in our hearts to say than we bother to share at times because we live in a world that has shushed us. When I was a girl going to Church camp in my , We used to have a speech in sermon contest, the girls were always speeches. The boys were always sermons because we understood and if we didn’t understand we were taught to understand that we were not to minister to others as women, I used to love that competition and my favourite parable to share was always the 99 sheep, however over the years I have accumulated a great mini stories that stick with me , more than the 99 sheep. I’m inclined to start sharing more of this in the coming months, I think I’ve been hushed too much of my life. I just want an outlet to share more of what I see. Or even why it matters to me. Stick around if you care to share in the conversation.

We spend so much time thinking about living, afraid of mistakes and hung up on the ones we’ve already made
This group is about learning to dance through the missteps and mishaps of life, learning to let go because it’s good for you to, learning to forgive others (and especially yourself) and learn to live life to its fullest. This group is intended to be a sounding board when you could use extra guidance, an ear to listen, a shoulder to lean on and someone to celebrate you when you have something (big or small) to celebrate.
