I just wanted to share a little praise report and hopefully encourage somebody else today. 🙏 I’ve been dealing with a situation with a restoration company where I had completed a pretty large job, but I had been waiting on payment and wasn’t getting much communication. It had honestly started putting me in a difficult position financially and weighing on me. I had shared the situation with Margo, and after our meeting she prayed with me about it. She told me, “Go over there with your invoice and talk to them.” Well… I didn’t exactly follow directions 😂 because I didn’t take the invoice — they already had it — but I DID go over there. I was nervous. And I know that might sound crazy because the work was already done and I was simply asking to be paid for work my team completed. But sometimes in business I struggle with having to chase or fight for money that I’ve already earned. I almost feel embarrassed asking, even though there is absolutely nothing wrong with expecting to be paid fairly for work that was completed. But I truly felt God giving me the strength to say, No, go in there. You did the work. Go find out what is going on. So I went. And wouldn’t you know it — I walked right into the person I needed to speak with. He smiled, talked to me, explained what was happening with the larger project, and told me my check will be ready Friday. And I told him, “That’s all I needed — just communication. Just let me know what’s going on.” So today I’m thanking God. 🙏 Not only because the payment is coming, but because He gave me the courage to walk through that door when I was nervous and wanted to avoid the situation. And I’m thankful for Margo taking the time to pray with me and encourage me to go handle it. Prayer works. Sometimes the answer isn’t God removing the situation — sometimes He gives us the strength and courage to walk straight into it. Praise God for answered prayers, for strength when we need it, and for putting people around us who will pray with us. 💛🙏
