5 mins LC, rings & bar
Decided to check out another little spot close to my usual playground area. This one has 3 medium bars of slightly different height, a backbending bench and an abdominal bench.
There was some good shade for a 5 minute long cycle with 2x16. I managed 39 reps, but i’m sure some of my top fixations had some slop. The wraith belt progressions prepared me well for this I think! 👍
Here is a short of the long cycle, and if you want to check out the full version, the link is in this short:
Next up was 5 rounds of a superset of ring push ups with 16kg kb in a knapsack (definitely not ideal!) paired with some pronated grip L sit rows, and 2x16 rack squats.
I was attempting to do an EMOM or ENON but the kettlebell would sometimes move out of place on my back due to its shape. A better book bag with something inside to keep it from rolling around is in order for sure. Also next time I will try a band to help with the rows, as I couldn’t pull the bar to my stomach. Im also hoping this won’t bother my golfers elbow. Typically the pronates grips are the least bothersome and so far so good…no warning twinges.
The put that back ending bench to good use! I will attempt to be more regular with overhead flexibility and mobility as I know it will add some ease to jerk and long cycle.
